National Farmworker Jobs Program
-Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act-

The National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP) is designed to help farmworkers and their family find a higher paying employment opportunity, stable employment and a better future. The NFJP Program provides access to education services and job training, support, and other services.

​Services we provide:

• Vocational Classroom Training
• English-as-a-Second-Language
• General Educational Diploma Instruction
• On-the-Job Training
• Direct Job Placement/Job Development and Referral
• Training-Related Support Services
• Counseling and Case Management​​

​NFJP Eligibility Requirements:

• ​You have worked in agriculture or a spouse/dependent of someone that has worked in agriculture work within the last 2 years.
• Your household is low income, must be below the federal income guidelines.
• If male, must have not violated Section 3 of the Military Selective Service Act by knowingly and willfully failing to register for Selective Service registration.
  
• You are authorized to work in the U.S.

NFJP Youth Program

The NFJP Youth Program helps students who were farmworkers or the dependent of a farmworker pay for college tuition and fees.

NFJP Youth Eligibility Requirements: 

• Must be an eligible farmworker, OR dependent or spouse of a farmworker
• Students must be the ages between 16-24 years old
• Be authorized to work in the United States (includes DACA)
• Meet or below the federal income guidelines
• If male, must have not violated Section 3 of the Military Selective Service Act by knowingly and willfully failing to register for Selective Service registration. You are authorized to work in the U.S
• Enrolled/enrolling at an accredited community college or 4-year University
